Another one of my favorite spots in Paris, a book store called Shakespeare & Co.
The history of this place is rather significant, or relevant in my case since we’ve been studying Sylvia Beach’s texts for class.
Shakespeare & Co. sells and showcases American books, so you’ll find anything from shelves worshipping Hemingway to a section devoted to Julia Child, and then some. Some adjectives I associate with this ____ place: quaint, cozy, personal, expensive, (soooo) cute, etc… and I would go on and on if I had the time and the adjectives to spare.
Eventually walked out with three books more and thirty euros less. So worth it. Definitely going back.
